About James Willis
I have been a web application developer for over 10 years, using mainly Microsoft technologies (ASP, VB, MS SQL Server, COM, .NET) and have built and managed projects of varying scale for both Internet and intranet applications. I have managed teams ranging in size from 1 to 13 direct reports designing and architecting multiple concurrent projects. I have extensive experience in the entire software development life cycle from requirements analysis to quality assurance and have the end-to-end technology and capability to build user interfaces, business logic and databases.
I recently completed a position at a small Iowa consulting firm and am now looking for independent projects in the N.E. Iowa region. As a local resident I am able to make regular on-site visits as necessary and at short notice.
I am comfortable with projects from 12 hours to 12 months and have a network of consultants that can be called upon for larger projects.
